The series premiere of Beyond has already aired on Freeform, and at the moment you can watch the rest of the season on Hulu, the Freeform app and of course On Demand. However, we will be doing reviews as they air. So get ready for a little preview of what's to come on the next episode, "Ties That Bind," which will take viewers even more beyond this world. That's right, this episode we will enter the realm, the place where Holden's mind was visiting while his body rest in a coma. That sad part is, we won't be seeing a lot of it, but as the episodes keep airing, you can bet we'll see a lot more of this place. For now though, this is just a little preview of this world. I guess we can thank Willa for that, she is the one who is helping Holden re-visit this place.
On a side note, this episode we'll see a lot more of these two together. It's very welcoming since the story is set up around these two. Also, I guess eventually Holden and Willa will be more than just friends, so it's nice to see them bonding. By the way, I'm not confirming that they will become more than what they are as of now, I have not seen the entire season yet, but it is hinted.
So while Holden and Willa are busy doing their own thing, we do learn that the Matthews' family are not that happy. In fact, after what started off as a great dinner, things are blown up and Luke breaks his silence. I won't say exactly what's going on here, just in case there are fans of the show that are watching weekly, but I was quit surprised. I don't know why I was, I guess because this family looks so perfect. But you know how the saying goes, you never know what goes on behind closed doors.
Now let's talk about that Yellow Jacket man! Who is he? What does he want? And what the -- is he doing with Kevin? I can't spoil it, but it's nothing good, that I can promise you. This episode really does dive into a darker story telling, especially with this part of the plot.
So with all of that said, Beyond will not be calming down anytime soon. In fact, it's just starting to mess with our emotions and our minds. I'm sure I am not going to be the only one that's sad to see this episode end. I mean, even though the entire season is streaming, I was still not ready for it to end. If you didn't want more before, you will definitely want more after this episode.
