Based on the classic E.M. Forster novel of the same name Starz and BBC will produce a four-part television adaption of Howards End. 

While the miniseries is directed by Hettie MacDonald (White Girl), the screenplay will by written by Academy Award-nominated playwright and screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan (Manchester by the Sea). 

Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter, Ant-Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron) will portray Margaret Schlegel and Matthew Macfadyen (Ripper Street, The Last Kingdom,MI-5) will portray Henry Wilcox in the adaptation. Tracey Ullman (Tracey Ullman’s Show, Into the Woods, Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union) will play Aunt Juley Mund.

The miniseries will consist of four hour-long episodes that will air on BBC in the UK and on Starz in the US later in 2017.
