The Pearson Family has certainly have had their ups and downs on This Is Us!  Like most families, Thanksgiving is the one time we all come together to celebrate the season.  All this togetherness can come with some baggage!  Unresolved disagreements and other topics that might not be popular has certainly ended Thanksgiving dinner with some indigestion!  The Pearsons are such an interesting and lovely blended family that will certainly have their moments!  A peaceful dinner party is probably not what will happen, but if there is one thing I know about this family, there is enough love to go around to overcome any disaster!  This Is Us is going to air on NBC Tuesday night on Nov. 22nd at 9pm EST!

We here at Voice Of TV are huge fans of the show This Is Us!  We love to report on our favorite shows and we also chat a lot about them and often wonder where the plot twists of This Is Us will take us. Three of my friends that join us in today's post are Charlotte, Anam and Dee.  We are excited to see what episode 1x08 "Pilgrim Rick" will show us about the Pearson family!

From Charlotte: "One thing I really like about this series is that it is relatable and shows just how complex family relationships can be, especially during the holidays. Thanksgiving can be a stressful but exciting time for any family and I think I think it will be interesting to see how the family relationship and dynamics have changed during the holiday season. We have seen how the family has changed over the years, so I am looking forward to seeing if they keep any of the same traditions alive despite all of these changes. I’m also interested to learn about the drama and that unfolds at Randall’s thanksgiving dinner. It's sad to watch because at the start of the promo we see how excited he is for Thanksgiving and by the end, he is near tears at the dinner table."  Check out CharlotteB on Voice of TV!

From Dee:  "I'm both excited and scared of the Thanksgiving dinner (assuming it is the Thanksgiving dinner) at Randall's because apparently, someone told him right there. The walking scene reminds me of the Von Trapp family. And hopefully, Kate and Toby will resolve their issue regarding who's eating more or who's eating less. I feel like I want to tell both of them to just eat what they want as long as it's healthy."  Check out deedeedee on Voice of TV!

From Anam:  "I have a feeling the next episode won't be nearly as light hearted as the last one was. They'll be celebrating thanksgiving a time for family togetherness which also has a way of bringing out your family issues. It looks like Randall may find out what his mom did and I have a feeling that's going to damage their relationship a little. I'm already getting emotional thinking about it. Rebecca loves Randall and she did what she thought was best for him but its going to come back and bite her in the ass. I was hoping to see all three of them as adults back together but it doesn't look like Kate's going to make it to Randall's for thanksgiving. At least the brothers are together. I know I'll be keeping tissues near by, just in case."  Check out Anamiii on Voice of TV!

Here's the 2nd commercial for this week's Thanksgiving themed This Is Us show:

Does your family have traditions at Thanksgiving?  It will be interesting to see what traditions the Pearsons have celebrated through the years.  It will be sad knowing that daddy Jack won't be there this year and am wondering how many years he has been missing from the dinner table.  I wish you all the best this great and beautiful Thanksgiving season!
